GRAPHIC.DESIGN Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center (IMEC) – Peoria, IL Not-for-profit manufacturing assistance organization Scenario: IMEC is involved with helping Boeing suppliers meet the quality standards that the aeronautical industry has set. Each year a series of classes are available through IMEC and other out-sourced individuals through grant funding. A new course book of the classes is developed at the beginning of each year. For the 2003-2004 IMEC decided to create a new cover for the book using Boeing images. The original cover had simply stated the name of the program, the sponsors, year, and had several horizontal lines for visual appeal. Elements developed: Training/Sales Manual Cover Boyle Creative compiled a collage of actual Boeing planes and scenarios to create an exciting, fantasy-like, adventurous graphic. The final design created for this new cover was approved by Boeing officials in the St. Louis office and was circulated among all Boeing suppliers within the state of Illinois. This same cover was used again on the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 class catalogs. Back to portfolio
